ד"ר נטע נדיב השלימה את לימודי הדוקטורט (Ph.D) באוניברסיטת בר-אילן ולאחר מכן שימשה כעמיתת פוסט-דוקטורט באוניברסיטת אוקספורד ובאוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים. עוד קודם לכן סיימה תואר ראשון ושני במשפטים (LL.B ו- LL.M) באוניברסיטת רייכמן, ותואר שני במשפטים עם תיזה באוניברסיטת תל-אביב. התארחה כחוקרת באוניברסיטת בוסטון ובמכון למחקר השוואתי בלוזאן, שוויץ. בשנת 2014 הצטרפה למרכז הבינתחומי הרצליה, לאחר ששימשה במשך שנים כקלינאית וכמרצה במוסדות אקדמיים. בבית ספר הארי רדזינר למשפטים ניהלה את הקליניקה הקהילתית, ומספר תוכניות פרקטיקום לרבות את תכנית המשפט המבוים הפומבי. ובנוסף, שימשה כמרצה מן החוץ באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים ובאוניברסיטת בר-אילן.
בשנת 2024 הצטרפה כמרצה בבית הספר, ובתפקידיה בין היתר כאחראית על תכנית המצטיינים ועומדת בראש המערך ההתנסותי של בית הספר.

בשנת 2019 זכתה בפרס הרקטור באוניברסיטת בר אילן למחקר בינתחומי, וספרה "מכרזי עובדים בשירות המדינה" ראה אור בהוצאת נבו. ספרה בוחן את מכרזי העובדים בשירות המדינה בישראל, מההיבט התיאורטי, הנורמטיבי והאמפירי. בשנת 2022 זכתה במענק מחקר מטעם קרן המחקרים של המוסד לביטוח לאומי בעבור מחקר עומק אמפירי בתחום חדלות הפירעון, ובשנת 2024 זכתה במענק מחקר מטעם בנק ישראל וקרנות הביטוח הלאומי. בשנת 2023 מונתה לתפקיד מזכ"לית העמותה למשפט ציבורי בישראל לצד נשיא העמותה כבוד השופט (בדימוס) פרופ' אליקים רובינשטיין ופרופ' קרן וינשל כיו"ר העמותה, ובשנת 2025 התקבלה לפורום צעירי מדעי הרוח והחברה באקדמיה הלאומית הישראלית למדעים.

מחקריה של ד"ר נדיב מתמקדים בתחום המשפט הציבורי, המשפט המנהלי ומשפט העבודה, אכיפת חיובים וחדלות פירעון. בין היתר בוחנת ד"ר נדיב היבטים אמפיריים של הליכים משפטיים, על יעילות ההליך ואופן סיומו. מחקריה בתחום חדלות פירעון, בוחנים, לראשונה בישראל, את מאפייני ההליך המשפטי, תיקי החוב והחייבים.
