Consultation on how to claim benefits from government bodies and institutions and/or nonprofit organizations
At the Accessibility & Study Skills Center, one can set a consultation meeting with Maanit Stein, coordinator of accessibility and assistive technologies, in order to receive assistance in taking advantage of the full range of benefits available to the student from various institutions: the Ministry of Health; the Ministry of Social Affairs; the rehabilitation departments of the National Insurance Institute; and more…,One can learn about the benefits available to students with disabilities from the National Insurance Institute, as well as benefits available specifically to students with attention deficit disorders. The student will also learn about of the process of submitting a request to the National Insurance Institute and more.
Additionally, the Center conducts guest lectures about the rights and benefits that are available to people with disabilities.
The Center works with a variety of non-profits organizations such as: Negishut Israel, ALEH, ALUT, Natan, DPII (Deaf Promotion Institute Israel), Karten Institute, Reut, Milabat, and more.
