she codes; is a community of women with the goal of reaching 50% female software developers in the Israeli high-tech industry within a decade.
The she codes; community consists of over 50,000 members taking part in educational technological activities in over 50 branches throughout Israel. Among our members are women with a desire to learn software development or to make a career change into the high-tech field. Our members also include women who want to develop new programming skills and meet fellow programmers, as well as high school students who are interested in programming.
The Reichman University branch is targeted at students and includes special events specifically geared toward students including preparation for job fairs. Students are also encouraged to attend weekly meetings to work on their personal projects and schoolwork.
The she codes; community consists of participants as well as a team of hundreds of devoted volunteers. Our volunteer team members operate dozens of branches across Israel, nationwide events, study courses, the she codes; website and social media channels, and many other significant roles.
