The Gazit-Globe Real Estate Institute held the third of a series of meetings on the subject "Housing Prices in Israel"
On June 30, 2021, the Gazit-Globe Real Estate Institute at IDC Herzliya held its third meeting on the subject ”Housing Prices in Israel”. During the meeting, which was held online, data from the Gazit-Globe Institute's Index of Housing Prices (GGII) for the first quarter of 2021 were presented, and a conversation on the subject was held between Dr. Efrat Tolkowsky, CEO of the Gazit-Globe Institute and Haim Mesilati, Chairman of the Israeli Real Estate Appraisers Association.
Among the topics discussed at the meeting were the methodology employed by the GGII, the differences between the GGII and the Central Bureau of Statistics' housing price index, the volume of transactions used to create the index, and trends in housing prices both at the national level and across different regions across Israel.
