On July 1, 2021, senior figures from the real estate world gathered at IDC Herzliya. The occasion was the presentation of the final projects – on business development in the field of real estate – by the fourth cohort of students specializing in real estate in the MBA Program at IDC’s Arison School of Business. The specialization is headed by Prof. Amnon Lehavi and is run in cooperation with the Gazit-Globe Real Estate Institute.

The students worked on the projects for several months, guided by course lecturer Yuval Bronstein, former CEO of the Azrieli Group, and course coordinator Maor Mosler, Head of Business Development in Phoenix Insurance’s Real Estate Department. The students received support from mentors from the real estate industry, on projects on three tracts of land owned by Big, Israel Canada, and Gav-Yam.

The judges included Yariv Bar-Dea, VP of Marketing and Business Development at Gav-Yam; Merav Segal, Deputy CEO of Israel Canada Group; and Yaniv Komemi, VP Israel Business and Assets Development at Big.

Also in attendance were Avi Jacobovitz, CEO of Gav-Yam; Adv. Alon Yoeli, Partner in the Real Estate Department at Meitar Law Offices; architect Mendi Rotbard, Partner at Moshe Tzur Architects & Town Planners; Yuval Talmi, Branch Manager of Business Real Estate at Bank Leumi; Jacky Mukmel, Chairman of CBRE, Assi Agi, Head of Brokerage Services at CBRE; Tal Nehenson, Analyst at Bank Leumi; Ron Zarnitzky, CEO of Zarnitzky Land Appraisers, and others.

Thank you to the judges and mentors for their accompaniment and support, and congratulations to the students.
