On February 8, 2023, the G City Real Estate Institute and the Israeli Association of Municipal Engineers and Architects held an online meeting on the topic “Rental Housing in Israel.” This was the fifth of a series of meetings in the framework of the collaboration between the G City Real Estate Institute and the Israeli Association of Municipal Engineers and Architects.
The meeting was moderated by Ms. Hana Hermesh, member of the board of the Association of Municipal Engineers and Architects and municipal engineer of the City of Herzliya, and featured the following speakers: Prof. Amnon Lehavi, academic director of the G City Real Estate Institute at Reichman University; Adv. Ori Ettinger, manager of Policy Promotion at the Affordable Housing Center at Tel Aviv University’s Buchmann Faculty of Law; Lior Levy of the Housing and Innovation Department at “Dira Lehaskir”; Dr. Naama Riva, urban architecture and design writer at Ha’aretz; architect Avner Yashar, owner of Yashar Architects; Adv. Ilana Braaf-Snir, senior partner at Harari Toister & Co. Law Office; real estate appraiser Aharon Butz, Aharon Butz Real Estate Appraisals and Management; Adv. David Sockut, VP of Planning at Africa Israel; Mr. Udi Carmely, municipal engineer of Tel Aviv-Yafo; and Dr. Efrat Tolkowsky, CEO of the G City Real Estate Institute at Reichman University.
