Intergenerational Transfer of Real Estate Rights on Moshavim

On December 27, 2022, the G City Real Estate Institute at Reichman University and the Moshavim Movement in Israel held an online meeting on the topic of intergenerational transfer of real estate rights on moshavim. This was the first of a series of meetings on the topic of intergenerational transfer of real estate rights, held under the auspices of the G City Real Estate Institute.

 

The meeting was moderated by Adv. Michal Busel, director of the Lands and Cooperatives Division at the Moshavim Movement in Israel and a doctoral student at the Harry Radzyner Law School at Reichman University. Speakers included Prof. Amnon Lehavi, academic director of the G City Real Estate Institute at Reichman University; Adv. Amit Ifrach, secretary-general of the Moshavim Movement in Israel and chairman of the Farmers' Federation of Israel; Adv. Shimrit Gigi of the law firm Hagay, Shabtay, Shapiro; Nitzan Makover of Nitzan Makover Economics, Appraisals and Real Estate Management; and Dr. Ruti Frum Aricha, director of the Planning Authority at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
