The Gazit-Globe Real Estate Institute held the second of a series of meetings on the subject of housing prices in Israel

The Gazit-Globe Real Estate Institute held an online meeting on March 2, 2021 on the subject of housing prices in Israel. During the meeting, data from the Gazit-Globe Institute's Index of Housing Prices (GGII) for the fourth quarter of 2020 were presented, and a conversation on the subject was held between Dr. Efrat Tolkowsky, CEO of the Gazit-Globe Institute and Ohad Danos, CEO and partner at Danos Lahat Real Estate Appraisers and former Chairman of the Israeli Real Estate Appraisers Association.

Among the topics discussed at the meeting were the methodology employed by the GGII, the differences between the GGII and the Central Bureau of Statistics' housing price index, the volume of transactions used to create the index, and trends in housing prices both at the national level and in different regions across Israel throughout the COVID-19 crisis.
