The Gazit-Globe Real Estate Institute held one of a series of meetings on the subject “Housing Prices in Israel: Fourth Quarter, 2021”
On February 28, 2022, Reichman University’s Gazit-Globe Real Estate Institute held one of a series of meetings on the subject of housing prices in Israel. During the meeting, which was held online, data from the Gazit-Globe Institute's Index of Housing Prices (GGII) for the fourth quarter of 2021 were presented, and a conversation took place between Dr. Efrat Tolkowsky, CEO of the Gazit-Globe Institute, and Oren Hod, deputy CEO of Gazit-Globe.
Among the topics discussed at the meeting were the methodology employed by the GGII, the differences between the GGII and the Central Bureau of Statistics' housing price index, the volume of transactions used to create the index, and trends in housing prices both at the national level and in different regions across Israel.
