The RRIS Program in Government offers a variety of unique opportunities to expand your horizon by joining various competitions and potentially receiving award winning recognition.

Competitions

  • International Humanitarian Law Competition

    The purpose of the competition is to prepare one or more teams for the National Competition in international humanitarian law, organized by the ICRC and ALMA. This competition is open to RRIS Government students.

  • Research Cadets Program

    The program is intended for students in their second and third years of their studies as well as for students in the master's degree programs. This program enables students to write academic publications with members of the faculty and researchers at the various think tanks of the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and .Strategy

Awards

  • The Neville and Emma Shulman Literary RU Challenges Cup

    The annual competition offers students and graduates the chance to compete for a prize and a silver cup for the best-written presentation offering solutions to challenges facing Israel and the Middle East.

  • Ragonis Foundation Scholarships In Memory of Maj. Eyal Ragonis z”l

    An award competition promoting research in Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security by RU students and IDF soldiers and officers. The competition is open to BA and MA students at RU.

  • “Kaf-Tet Be-November” Award For Outstanding Papers Concerning Society and Democracy in Israel

    An award competition for outstanding papers on society and democracy in Israel. The competition aims to promote student involvement on issues related to resilience of democracy in Israel.
