About the G City Real Estate Institute
The G City Real Estate Institute (formerly the Gazit-Globe Real Estate Institute) was established with the mission of serving as Israel’s central academic platform for the study and research of real estate. The Institute was launched at Reichman University (formerly IDC Herzliya) in October 2011 thanks to a generous donation from G City (formerly Gazit Globe). The Institute operates in the spirit of academic excellence, innovation and entrepreneurship for which Reichman University is renowned.
The Institute aims to achieve the following goals in the area of real estate:
- Promotion of academic research
- Building of academic programs
- Strengthening of the connection between academia and the world of real estate
- Influence on public discourse
Under the Institute’s auspices, the following programs are taught at Reichman University:
- Real Estate track in the MBA program at the Arison School of Business
- A specialization in real estate in the double major track in Law (LL.B.) and Business Administration (B.A.) at the Harry Radzyner Law School
- The Legal Aid Clinic for Housing Rights and Urban Development at the Harry Radzyner Law School
Alongside these programs, the Institute conducts extensive activities, including academic research, the creation of new indices, the hosting of delegations, conferences, symposiums, forums, roundtables, and seminars. In addition, the Institute cooperates with academic institutions and leading organizations in the field of real estate, both in Israel and abroad.
