Congressional Action

In this project, we analyze congressional legislative action toward Israel. We examine all bills and resolutions submitted and discussed in the US Congress that demonstrate support for Israel. Using these data, we assess trends in the number of bills and resolutions supporting Israel and the number of sponsors and co-sponsors each bill and resolution has. We also review individual and district-level factors that explain support for Israel among members of Congress.
