Accommodation


  • The University of Hohenheim offers on-campus housing options for exchange students; however, the number of rooms in student residences is very limited. Therefore, the university cannot guarantee a place there for all the exchange students.
  • On- Campus housing: The Student Union maintains several halls of residence, which vary in layout, design and price. There are flat-sharing communities in addition to small apartments and other forms of communal living.
  • Residence rooms are furnished with basic furniture. Students usually share the kitchen and bath with other students. Internet access is available in the residences as well.
  • Washing machines are available in the residences, and students can buy wash cards from the caretaker. Extra payment may be required if students prefer a private telephone extension. You can also rent rooms via the student links.

  • The University of Hohenheim is located in the prospering economic region of Stuttgart. In a unique campus environment, the university is located in a 200 year old castle surrounded by gardens and experimental fields.
  • The University of Hohenheim is one of the few campus universities in Germany, so all important university buildings are easily accessible by foot.
