The University of Hohenheim offers on-campus housing options for exchange students; however, the number of rooms in student residences is very limited. Therefore, the university cannot guarantee a place there for all the exchange students.
On- Campus housing: The Student Union maintains several halls of residence, which vary in layout, design and price. There are flat-sharing communities in addition to small apartments and other forms of communal living.
Residence rooms are furnished with basic furniture. Students usually share the kitchen and bath with other students. Internet access is available in the residences as well.
Washing machines are available in the residences, and students can buy wash cards from the caretaker. Extra payment may be required if students prefer a private telephone extension. You can also rent rooms via the student links.

The University of Hohenheim is located in the prospering economic region of Stuttgart. In a unique campus environment, the university is located in a 200 year old castle surrounded by gardens and experimental fields.
The University of Hohenheim is one of the few campus universities in Germany, so all important university buildings are easily accessible by foot.
