Accommodation


  • Compared to other German and European metropoles, accommodation in Leipzig is very reasonable. Many HHL students choose to live in a private apartment or in a shared flat during their stay in Leipzig, while the international students prefer to live in the student dorms, since almost all rooms are furnished. Most of them are located close to the HHL campus and to the city center. The student dorms on the Mainzer Straße are located just five minutes walking distance from campus.
  • While private accommodation can cost around EUR 250 (for a room in a shared flat) and EUR 500 (for a private apartment with two bedrooms), in the student dorms you can choose between a room in a shared flat (between EUR 200 and 250) or a private apartment (between EUR 250 and 300).
