Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración (CESA) offers Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Postgraduate Certificates and Master’s degrees in Finance and in Marketing, and Executive Programs for professionals and top level management. It was founded in 1975 by a group of prominent business leaders backed by the National Association of Entrepreneurs in Colombia (ANDI), the country’s main business association.


CESA’s primary objective is to offer an integral education in business administration with a strong international focus and high practical content, linking theory and real business issues. Through this, CESA aims to contribute to the formation of professionals and leaders capable of adding value to their chosen companies, effecting change in the country and making a difference in the world.

Location & Facilities


  • Bogotá was founded almost 500 years ago and combines the old-world charm of its colonial origins with the vibrant life of a modern metropolis. With close to eight million inhabitants, the Colombian capital is a bustling city, rich in contrasts – from pedestrian zones with cobbled squares and brightly painted houses to modern glass and steel facades in the financial center.
  • The surrounding mountains offer stunning views of the city below and are also a great place for hikes and other excursions.
  • When CESA was founded in 1975, Jaime Michelsen, a renowned Colombian businessman and promoter of the institution, donated his own house to be CESA’s first site. Since then, the campus has expanded significantly, currently inhabiting twelve large buildings located in the historical neighborhood of La Merced with its characteristic Tudor style houses.
  • Respecting the original structure of the buildings, CESA has incorporated therein the most modern concepts of furnishing, lighting, acoustics, ventilation and technological aids.

  • As a result, teachers and students now enjoy more than 12.000 square meters in a unique architectural environment with common spaces, specialized classrooms, a high-tech and user-friendly library and study rooms equipped with the latest technology.
