  • Prof. Yacov Hel-Or is the Dean of Efi Arazi School of Computer Science, Reichman University (IDC). His recent interests are in the field of Deep Learning in the context of Computer Vision and Image Processing. He received his B.Sc. degree in Physics and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Since then he was a post-doc at the department of Applied Math and Computer Science at the Weizmann Institute of Science, and at NASA Ames Research Center, U.S.A. He is now a Professor and the dean at the School of Computer Science, Reichman University (IDC). Yacov has been consulting for several high profile firms such as HP Labs, Google, and Amazon. He was a visiting scholar at Google during 2011-2012 and worked as a principal scientist at Amazon during 2016-2018, working for the Amazon-Go project.
