Dr. Ramon Feldbrin

  • Ramon Feldbrin is an Assistant Professor of Law at the Harry Radzyner Law School at Reichman University. He graduated magna cum laude from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with a dual degree in Law and Political Science and received his Master of Laws and Doctorate in Law degrees from the University of Chicago Law School. Before joining the faculty, he was a Lecturer in Law at the University of Chicago Law School where he taught a first-of-its-kind course on constitutional procedure, and was a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for International, European and Regulatory Procedural Law.

    Ramon’s current research involves issues of meta-procedure, such as the process of creating the rules of procedure. He is especially interested in the administration of constitutional justice and the procedural rules that courts employ in constitutional cases. Ramon is also a member of the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg’s global project addressing the present setup and future challenges of civil procedure. His other research interests include comparative constitutional law, statutory interpretation, court communications, bankruptcy and reorganization, and behavioral economics.

    Earlier in his career, Ramon clerked on the Supreme Court of Israel, including as a senior law clerk for President Asher D. Grunis, and on the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware for Chief Judge Christopher S. Sontchi. He is admitted to practice law in Israel and New York, and previously worked as a litigation associate at one of Israel’s leading law firms where he specialized in complex dispute resolution.
