Dr. Ohad Fried

Research and Teaching Expertise

  • Faculty member in the school of computer science. Holds a B.Sc. in Computational Biology and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from The Hebrew University, and a PhD in Computer Science from Princeton University. Was a postdoctoral research scholar at Stanford University in the computer graphics group. Before embarking on the academic journey, conducted security research and worked for Texas Instruments as a firmware engineer. Collaborated on research projects with Adobe and Google.

    His research lies on the boundary between computer graphics, computer vision and machine learning. Enjoys playing around with pixels. Interested in tools, algorithms, and new paradigms for editing and synthesis of photos, videos and sound.
