  • Ilan Gronau holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Technion and an MSc from the Weizmann Institute. He spent five years between 2009 and 2014 as a postdoc at the Computational Biology Department in Cornell University. Ilan specializes in the development and application of algorithms and statistical methods for analyzing DNA sequenced by high throughput assays. His research is primarily motivated by fundamental open questions in species evolution and human population genetics, but it also addresses broader theoretical aspects of statistical inference problems.

    Since 2016 Ilan is heading the Computer Science's Masters program in the Efi Arazi School of Computer Science
