Research and Teaching Expertise

  • Professor Dafna Kariv is he Entrepreneurship-Business Administration track, and the co-Chair of the Research Committee full faculty member at the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship, Reichman University. Kariv is Affiliate Professor at HEC, Montreal, Canada and engaged in research and in academic projects; she is a sought-after, teaching professor in various academic institutions around the world.
    She is the former Vice President for Global Initiatives and the Chair the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the College of Management (COLLMAN), Rishon Lezion. She has established the Center of Entrepreneurship Novus, and developed an incubator and an accelerator; correspondingly, she has established a virtual incubator, a remoted program engaging academic institutions around the world.
    Prof. Kariv is the author of seven academic books, all around entrepreneurship, published with Routledge UK, Routledge, NY and Edward Elgar, UK. She has published numerous papers in entrepreneurship in academic journals, with research teams from Canada, Europe and US.
    Kariv’s research focuses on international entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial performance, entrepreneurial education, ecosystems and gender.
    She is a recipient of several prized funds including the European Commission funds; she is involved in many academic boards, and she is the Ambassador of ‘German-Israeli-Startup-Exchange Program’ (GISEP).
    During the COVID-19 pandemic she has developed a model aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and provide them with practical tools on how to navigate in times of the pandemic, as well as to craft their competitive advantage for the ‘Day After’; she has presented her model in dozen of webinars around the world.
