תחומי הוראה ומחקר

  • פרופ' דפנה שורץ (כלכלה) הצטרפה, באוקטובר 2017 לסגל האקדמי של אוניברסיטת רייכמן (המרכז הבינתחומי הרצליה) לבית ספר אדלסון ליזמות. החל מאוגוסט 2020 היא מונתה גם כ"ראש הרשות למחקר" באוניברסיטת רייכמן.
    לפני הצטרפותה למרכז הבינתחומי היא הייתה פרופסורית באוניברסיטת בן גוריון, בפקולטה לניהול. בחברת סגל באוניברסיטת בן גוריון היא יזמה וקידמה תוכניות בתחום היזמות והחדשנות. היא הקימה את המגמה ל"יזמות, חדשנות וניהול היי-טק", במחלקה למנהל עסקים (MBA) ועמדה בראש המגמה מאז הקמתה והיא ניהלה את "מרכז בנג'יס ליזמות וחדשנות" מאז הקמתו (שנת 2,000) - כמנהלת ובהמשך גם כיו"ר. היא כיהנה בוועדות שונות בפקולטה לניהול ובאוניברסיטה, לרבות: בוועד המנהל של האוניברסיטה ונציגת הסנאט בחבר הנאמנים.

    תחומי התמחותה המקצועיים הם: יזמות וחדשנות, סטרטאפים, יזמות וחדשנות בארגונים, מימון חדשנות, פיתוח כלכלי ופיתוח כלכלי מקומי ואזורי.

    היא עוסקת, לאורך כל השנים, במחקר, תכנון כלכלי וייעוץ בפרויקטים בארץ ובעולם לרבות עם גורמים מובילים לאומיים ובינלאומיים. בישראל עם גופים לרבות: משרדי ממשלה, פרויקטים תכנוניים לאומיים: תמ"א 35, ותוכנית אב ארוכת טווח לישראל ועוד. בחו"ל, עם גופים כגון: הבנק העולמי, הנציבות האירופית, האו"ם (היחידה לפיתוח כלכלי של האו"ם UNDP), גופים ממשלתיים וגורמים נוספים (במדינות כגון: אתיופיה, ברזיל, סין, הודו, גואטמלה, קניה, אנגולה, פרגוואי ואחרים).

    היא בעלת ניסיון עשיר כחברה בדירקטוריונים של חברות מובילות במשק כמו גם סטרטאפים. כיום היא חברה בדירקטוריון של חברת Inovytec אינוויטק פתרונות רפואיים בע"מ, וחברת הוועד המנהל של הקמארטה הישראלית ירושלים וחברת הוועד המנהל של "חינוך לפסגות".
    בעבר הייתה חברה בדירקטוריונים, בין היתר של: קבוצת שטראוס, בנק הפועלים, בנק דיסקונט, בזק, טבע, לאומי ני"ע והשקעות (היום - פסגות אופק בית השקעות), בז"ן -בתי הזיקוק, רותם תעשיות, הפניקס, על-בד תעשיות, אורדע פרינט תעשיות, וועד המנהל הרשות לעסקים קטנים ובינוניים ואחרים.

    היא חברה לאורך השנים בוועדות וגופים ציבוריים שונים בארץ ובעולם.לאחרונה חברה בוועדת פרס הרמטכ"ל לחדשנות, חברת וועד המנהל חינוך לפסגות, וועד המנהל של הקארטה הירושלמית. בעבר הייתה, בין היתר; חברה במועצה הלאומית למחקר ופיתוח (מולמו"פ), חברה במועצה המייעצת לסיוע החוץ (שמטרתה לסייע בהתוויית מדיניות ואסטרטגיה למש"ב), חברת מומחים של הנציבות האירופית בנושא: "מדיניות מחקר ליזמות ועסקים קטנים ובינוניים", חברת וועדת מומחים מייעצת לתוכנית המו"פ החמישית של הקהילה האירופית בתחום: הכלכלי-חברתי, וועדת פרס ראש הממשלה ליזמות, וועדת מקוב "לבחינת האמצעים להעצמת הפריפריה והתעשייה המסורתית", חוק עידוד השקעות הון, הון אנושי לתעשייה, מס רכוש ועוד.

    בשנת 2011 נבחרה על-ידי המגזין דהמרקר, לאחת "ממאה האנשים המשפיעים על כלכלת ישראל לשנת 2011". בשנת 1996 נבחרה לאשת הקריירה של עיתון "גלובס" - אחת מתוך 10, כמייצגת את תחום הכלכלה. בשנת 2014 הוענק לה מעמד של "חברת כבוד של האקדמיה למדעים בסיארה, ברזיל".
    היא הייתה Visiting Scholar (קיץ 1991) באוניברסיטת הרווארד.

    לפני הצטרפותה לאוניברסיטה (1999) היא הייתה מנכ"לית של המרכז ללימודי הפיתוח, מוסד ללא מטרות רווח שעוסק במחקר, תכנון, ייעוץ והדרכה בתחומים של פיתוח כלכלי בארץ ובארצות מתפתחות.

    לפרופ' שורץ תואר BA בכלכלה מאוניברסיטת תל-אביב (חטיבה סטטיסטיקה), מוסמך בכלכלה חקלאית ומנהל מהאוניברסיטה העברית ודוקטור בכלכלה מהאוניברסיטה העברית. נושא עבודת הדוקטור שלה: "השפעת חוק עידוד השקעות הון על תיעושן של ערי הפיתוח".
