​Third Generation for the Elderly

Third Generation for the Elderly is a unique project with the aim of making technology accessible to the elderly. The students who take part in the project accompany the elderly throughout the entire year, during which time they tutor the elderly on computer programs and useful sites such as: skype, Facebook, making doctor appointments online, etc. In addition to weekly community service, the students who take part in this project also participate in two more days of community service at which time they help prepare for holidays at the Senior Citizen Homes in which the project is implemented. For the past three years the students held the Passover Seder for about 110 childless Holocaust survivors and a day of donations to raise money for the community before Passover.
