What will be taught?

A one on one meeting for acquiring academic learning skills - tools and techniques for efficient studying and for dealing with difficulties that accompany a student with learning issues. The emphasis is on practice and implementation making this an individually adapted process.
The service will be given subject to the student agreement by signing the consent form.

Learning process and number of meetings

The number of meetings in the center is set individually and depends on the work process and cooperation of the teacher and the student. When the teachers at the center are overbooked, priority will be given to first year students or students who have not yet had meetings at the center. The number of meetings required is a professional decision and will be decided by the professional staff of the Center.
The application for the one on one meeting service will be kept secret and will not be transferred to any one at RUNI or out side of RUNI unless the applying student gives a specific permission in writing, signed by the student.

Cancellation

I am aware that if I cannot make a one on one meeting already set for me, I must notify in writing via email to the teacher (with whom the meeting was set) and negishut@runi.ac.il, no later than 48 hours prior to the meeting.

Note: A student that misses more than one meeting without notification will not be able to continue using the services of the Center until there is a clarification with the head of the Center.

Keeping the Information

The information collected, as part of the given services, is in order to provide academic assistance and teach academic learning skills, all this in agreement with the student applying for the service. The information about the student will be kept till the end of the limitation period.

Which Information is Collected

The information collected is a summary of the one on one meeting including first name and date of the meeting, in addition to the process used to teach the academic learning skills.

The Right to Inspect the Information

A student requesting to inspect the collected information about him, exercise other rights or revert to his consent agreement to the service, can do that by applying in writing to the administrative coordinator at the accessibility center negishut@runi.ac.il
