Zell Class of 2021

 

Alon Greenfield is an extra-year Computer Science student at the Effi Arazi School of Computer Science. He is on the Dean’s list, is a recipient of the “Rom” Entrepreneur Scholarship and participated in the Computer Science Honors Program. Following his IDF service as a commander in Tzanhanim, Alon opened a locksmith business in St. Louis, US. He also managed the construction of single family houses in the US. Alon is currently working as a software engineer intern at Microsoft, specializing in multi-cloud solutions for labeling and classification.
Amit Raveh is a third-year Computer Science student at the Efi-Arazi School of Computer Science. Amit holds a degree in practical electrical engineering. While completing her studies, Amit serves as an officer in the IDF 8200 Unit. She has held several technology roles including head of a software development team, Software Engineer, Product Manager, and System Integration Engineer. Amit is skilled in software architecture and in developing highly complex real-time production systems. Through her various technical and leadership roles, Amit has gained invaluable experience and skills. Amit also volunteers as a mentor at Shift in the Cyber Education Center. In her free time, Amit enjoys dancing, doing acrobatics, yoga, and reading.
Ariel Zelechowski is a 2nd-year Economics and Sustainability student. He is also a salesman at Greenware Technologies (SAAS). Ariel is a former professional tennis player and commander in Yahalam- special engineering unit in the IDF. He is founder and CEO of Fresco, aiming to supply environmental solutions for events. Ariel is currently the manager of GreenBiz, the environmental entrepreneurship club of IDC, and volunteers as a project manager at Heroes for Life, where he is in charge of leading international humanitarian delegations. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and wave surfing.
Ariella Chorn is an extra year Psychology student at the Raphael Recanati International School doing her specialization in Brain and Life Sciences. Over the course of her degree, she worked as a Marketing Copywriter at the startup Juno Journey. She is currently a Business Analyst at Rafael Development Corporation Ltd., where she has experienced both the startup and the venture capital world. In addition, Ariella participated in the Data Science Enrichment Track, and is interning as a Human Resources Analyst at Microsoft. Prior to her studies Ariella served in the IDF as a combat soldier in the K-9 unit Okez. Ariella co-founded the Mentorship Program while volunteering at a non-profit organization for Lone Soldiers and for the past two years has been a mentor to a current Lone Soldier.
Danielle Hasson is an extra-year Entrepreneurship and Computer Science student at the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship and is part of the Dean’s list. Danielle served as a control officer in the IDF and is still serving in reserve duty. During her studies, Danielle participated in the Leumi Innovation Honors Program, she was part of the HackIDC team as the marketing manager and she volunteered as a coach assistant at ‘Eitan- Everybody Can’. Danielle currently works as a Frontend developer at Storemaven.
Eithan Gavrieli is an extra-year Entrepreneurship and Computer Science student. He participated in the IDC Milab program developing and designing rental apartments' reviews on the Android application. Eithan served nearly 7 years as an Airborne Air Traffic Controller in the Israeli Air Force (ranked Captain). For the past 3 years, he has been working as an instructor in Elbit Systems' fighter airborne and control virtual training simulator, and is currently providing automation solutions for small and medium companies.
Eran Samra is a third-year student at the Arazi School of Computer Science and the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship. Eran served in the foreign affairs unit of the ground forces. As part of his role, Eran promoted and executed military cooperation with foreign armies. After the army, Eran worked for a startup company, Guardian Optical Technology, as an AI Data Collector. When Eran was only 21 years old, he founded an innovative company that sells kitchens online. The uniqueness of the company is in the different marketing methods. Among other things, he took on the role of marketing and building the brand. Additionally, he has developed an E-commerce business selling home appliances. During his free time, he enjoys running on the beach, playing basketball, and meditating.
Gal Barzilai is an extra-year Entrepreneurship and Computer Science student at the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship. During her three years at IDC, she participated in the Leumi Innovation Honors Program, won with her team at the "Innovation in Organizations Hackathon" and was an instructor at the "IDC-orientation week". For the past three years, she has also volunteered in Givit, an NPO which helps students who rely on need-based scholarships. Besides her academic career, Gal served as a Deputy Company Commander and as an officer in officers' advanced courses. Last year, Gal worked as Network Operations Engineer at Trusteer, the computer security division of IBM, which offers cybercrime prevention solutions.
Kobi Schonberger is a third-year student in the dual degree and Honors program of Economics and Business Administration at the Tiomkin School of Economics. Kobi is a programmer since the age of 15, specializing in Web Development and Product Management. He served as a Programmer and a Projects Manager in the Ministry of Defense, and is currently managing his own Web Development Studio named LightByte. Kobi has a vast working experience, contributed to companies such as WalkMe, Wazimo, TerminalX and more. Basketball is one of his greatest passions, and he enjoys watching and playing it whenever he can.
Mayan Aran is a third-year student at the Efi Arazi School of Computer Science. Mayan participated in a one-year, pre-military program as a youth leader volunteer at Kibbutz ‘Mayan Baruch’. During her military service, Mayan acted as an office manager and commander at Chief of General Staff. In addition to her studies, Mayan participates as a web development instructor and mentor in the QueenB program, a nonprofit pro-women organization for 8th-grade girls. In her free time, Mayan loves doing yoga, listening to music, and traveling.
Mor Levi graduated from the Adelson Business school with a degree in Business and Entrepreneurship. With a strong passion for the business world, Mor founded her first startup at the age of 16 with the guidance of "Unistream". Mor served as an instructor of military IT systems. After the army service, Mor became the personal assistant of the CEO of "Unistream" and managed the youth entrepreneurship center. Following her business experience, she was selected to be one of the "Unistream" mentors, which enabled her to teach young entrepreneurs like herself how to turn their ideas into reality. She is also a freelance graphic designer. Mor was always an active campus member. In her first year, she interned at Tailor Brands as a product manager and in the last year of her studies served as CHO (Chief Happiness Officer) in the Student Union at IDC (Reichman University). She is a happy spirit that enjoys painting, traveling, and learning new skills!
Mor Schlesinger is a third year Computer Science student at the Efi Arazi school of Computer Science in the Raphael Recanati International School. He grew up in Oregon and moved to Tel Aviv at the age of 17 where he was eventually drafted as a lone soldier in the IDF Nahal brigade. During his studies, Mor participated in a variety of extracurricular activities offered at IDC (Reichman University). He followed his passion for sustainability by joining IDC's greenBiz entrepreneurship club, his affection for discourse by joining the RRIS Debate Society, his desire to contribute by doing IDC's "Shagi" project, and his technical inclination by being part of IDC's MiLab. This past year Mor interned and eventually was hired as a Software Developer at V-labs, a tech startup founded by Zell alumni in 2020. In his free time, Mor likes to cook and spend time with his friends around beautiful views.
Nadav Benoudiz is a third-year Computer Science student at the Efi Arazi School of Computer Science and has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the University of Haifa as part of a Naval Academy Cadets Course. Nadav was an officer in the Israeli Navy responsible for the cyber protection of the Navy vessels. He worked with cybersecurity and combat companies to develop a defensive infrastructure for naval vessels. During his army service, Nadav participated in two IDF combat fitness championships. During his studies at IDC (Reichman University), he took an active part in various clubs and established the new PropTech program. In his free time, Nadav plays tennis, works out, and swims. He enjoys carpentry and builds wooden projects.
Nadav Gutman is a third-year Entrepreneurship and Computer Science student at the Efi Arazi School of Computer Science and Adelson School of Entrepreneurship. He is a recipient of the excellence scholarship. Nadav served as an officer at the IDF for nearly six years in several positions in the intelligence corps, and was in charge of advanced technologies and data systems. During his time at IDC (Reichman University), he led the IDC Entrepreneurship Pulse program (digital health field), set up a basic clothing brand, and a platform that provides video editing and design services. In his free time, Nadav enjoys playing tennis, flying drones, and editing media.
Noy Twerski is an extra-year Computer Science and Entrepreneurship student at the Efi Arazi School of Computer Science and the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship. Noy works as a Product Manager at Fibo, a fintech startup that serves over 15,000 users. Noy manages the product life cycle of the digital solution, directs developers and initiates projects. Priorly, Noy worked at Walkme, a Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) company with nearly 1,000 employees, guiding the new mobile QA unit. Noy was the manager of Pulse healthtech program at the IDC (Reichman University) Entrepreneurship Club, establishing new connections with the Biotech industry and VCs. In the IDF, Noy served as a commander in the 8200 Intelligence Unit in a techno-intelligence position. Before her service, Noy did a year of volunteering in Beit-Shemesh working with at-risk youth.
Omer Zilberman is a third year student studying Government, Diplomacy and Strategy in the Lauder school at IDC (Reichman University). Omer was born in Israel, but was relocated at age 10 and grew up in Geneva, Switzerland. He later made “Aliyah” to join a Pre-Army Leadership Program, "Bnei-Zion”, and then served in the IDF as a lone soldier for 5 years. Omer served in a combat intelligence unit and completed his service as a Company Commander. Prior to studying at IDC, Omer worked as a sales manager for “Senso Guard”. During his first two years at IDC, Omer also worked in the marketing operations at Wix. Omer volunteers for several NGO’s including: “Tzahal Shalom of Northern Westchester USA”, “Ach Gadol”, “Momentum” and he is also a board member at “Bnei Zion”. Omer’s main hobbies are playing guitar, basketball and skiing.
Omer Bracha is a third-year student in the dual degree program of Economics and Business at the Tiomkin School of Economics. Omer served in a combat position of 8200 unit, responsible for network management and software development in hostile areas. Following his service, he joined Elbit Systems representing the company in various countries around the world. Three years ago he founded a digital marketing company. The company focuses on creating a social media presence for clients in various industries and countries. Omer is in charge of managing a team of 6 digital experts. Before joining the IDF, Omer spent one year as a counselor for at-risk youth from underprivileged neighborhoods through the Israeli Scouts.
Shay Dicastro is a second-year computer science student at the Efi Arazi School of Computer Science. At the age of 17, Shay led a technological venture in the field of smart vehicles as part of the Ness Technological Leadership program, and received a Certificate of Excellence for her contribution to the project. Shay is an alumni of the AAM course of unit 8200 of the IDF’s Intelligence Corps. During her military service, Shay managed wide-scale missions, formed an intelligence team from the ground up and acquired extensive technical knowledge in the field of cyber communications. After her army service, she joined an R&D team of a cybersecurity startup as a developer. Shay is the class representative and works in a student position as a software engineer at JFrog. In her free time, she learns Italian, reads books, and loves to spend time with her family and friends.
Shy Emergy is a third-year communications student, majoring in Marketing Communications at the Sammy Ofer School of Communications. In the IDF, Shy served as a pyrotechnical interviewer. Right after her military service, Shy started working in the marketing department of the international cosmetics company, Gernetic. In this company, she initiated and led many projects. Almost 2 years later, Shy started her way in the gaming industry as a marketing manager in an innovative gaming startup called Innplay Labs. During her studies, Shy represented IDC (Reichman University) in national debate competitions and took part in the HackIDC team as the head of marketing. In her free time, Shy enjoys playing the piano.
