“Efrohim & Tarnegolim”  (Mentor & Mentee) Program

The “Efrohim & Tarnegolim” program is a mentoring program whose purpose is to help first-year students succeed in their courses. The program has been running for a few years in “Efi Arazi School of Computer Science” and more than hundreds have been involved so far. The program is based on volunteering, therefore participation as a mentor will credit scholarship hours, and participation as a mentee is free of charge.

Only computer science students, from all years, will allow participating in the program if they meet the following requirements:

Mentee - First-year students at “Efi Arazi School of Computer Science”.

Mentor  - Students who scored grades of 80+ in the relevant subject or have prior knowledge in programming.

The program runs all year long (except the summer semester) and you can register for it at the beginning of each semester, using the link attached to the mail with the program details. In the registration form, you can choose to be either a mentor or mentee and prioritize the courses you want to participate in.

Participation in the program required 1-2 hour sessions on a weekly basis, and at least 20 hours during the semester. The responsibility of the meeting depends on the mentor and the mentee together - if one of the sides won’t fulfill his part, the coordinators have the right to suspend him.

Note that, meeting the requirements does not guarantee acceptance to the program!

The program staff does acceptance and scheduling in coordination and cooperation with the academic and administrative staff of “Efi Arazi School of Computer Science”.
