Security Studies and Counter-Terrorism Track

The Security Studies and Counter-Terrorism Track of the BA in Government at Reichman University introduces students to the key security and terrorism challenges of our time while preparing them to identify and implement innovative strategies to manage these problems. Students will examine a broad array of both traditional and non-traditional security and terrorism challenges, with special emphasis placed on contemporary topics such as the rise of non-state actors, great power competition, jihadi and far right extremism, cybersecurity, and environmental security. In engaging with these issues, students will explore the causes, nature, and consequences of these challenges. The program combines a thorough theoretical understanding of central concepts in international security and terrorism with a policy relevant approach that prepares students to become problem-solvers.
