Special Programs For Government Students

The Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy offers a variety of unique programs for outstanding students. These programs are designed to help students dive deeper into select fields of their studies and meet the demanding changes of the job market.

Special Programs in the Lauder school Government, Diplomacy and Strategy

These programs include the honors program and programs which offer specialization and broad and variable content and international travel

  • The Lauder School's Shadow Government

    In this program, students are assigned to any one of 21 shadow ministries and are tasked with monitoring the government and its activities. During the year the students are tasked with writing policy papers and suggesting reforms, which are delivered to relevant decision makers.

     

     

  • Forum for the Advancement of Women

    The Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy has initiated a forum aimed at exposing young women to the political arena and promoting their involvement in the political life, with no designated political affiliation.

     

  • The Mentors Project

    The Mentors Project is a unique program that enables selected Government students to enjoy monthly meetings with their mentors and attend study tours, meetings and guest lectures that expose them to the Israeli political world.

     

  • The Argov Fellows Program

    The Argov Fellows Program in Leadership and Diplomacy acquire the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to work towards meeting challenges that Israel faces in today’s complex global environment.

  • Rabin Leadership Program

    The goals of the program are to equip and train motivated students from all schools in Reichman University who will be attending next year their third or fourth academic year, with theoretical and practical tools of leadership and social entrepreneurship towards attaining leading positions in the Israeli society.

  • Syracuse University Summer Exchange Program

    Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University has developed a joint study and research program in counter-terrorism policy, homeland security and American domestic and foreign policy. 

  • Internship Programs

    Internship opportunities for third-year undergraduates and MA students studying in the international program of the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy are available at a variety of government offices, non-governmental organizations, and Lauder School research institutes and programs

  • Global Impact Studies MA Program

    This program seek to prepare a high- quality cadre of MA leaders and social entrepreneurs, who learn at Global Impact Studies how to embed Israeli approaches and innovations in the selected field into public and private institutions in developing countries.

  • Research Cadets Program

    The program is intended for students in their second and third years of their studies as well as for students in the master's degree programs. This program is for students who are interested in experiencing the process of writing and publishing an academic article. 

     

  • The Public Diplomacy Program

    The Reichman University Public Diplomacy Program provides 20 students, with effective, innovative, and proactive professional tools, for public diplomacy in the 21st Century.

Government students have the option to take part in a variety of entrepreneurship programs which are offered by the Adelson entrepreneurship school

  • Zell Entrepreneurship Program

    The program provides a platform for the development of a business venture from concept to launch. In addition, the program offers students a year of customized learning and invaluable practical experience in an intimate seminar setting

  • CO-OP Startup Experience

    We designed the "CO-OP Startup Experience Course" to offer students a unique opportunity to join a start-up and experience entrepreneurship first-hand, while still at school. The "CO-OP Startup Experience Course" is an academic course (3 interdisciplinary credits) that allows students to intern in a designated company for 10 weeks.

  • Upstart

    The "Upstart" venture creation program is a 1 year program for students in their 3rd year from all faculties. The program enables students to gain practical tools and skills alongside academic knowledge in entrepreneurship.
