From 0 to MVP- Our journey to win the acceleration track

By Haggai Lahav, Third-year student, Business Administration and Entrepreneurship

As part of the 3rd year final project of our Business Administration and Entrepreneurship degree, I and my partner were selected to join the acceleration track.

The goal of the track was to push teams to develop an MVP and ideally to a proof of concept by the end of the year.

Week after week, we received guidance and support from top Israeli ecosystem mentors and the academic staff. Each team got tailored content and mentoring. We had access to successful entrepreneurs, leading investors, and various field experts.

Throughout the year, we actively participated and developed from each session. These sessions provided a platform to dream big and apply the entrepreneurial tools we studied in our academic program, a truly unique opportunity!

From ideation, market research, validation, and hypothesis testing, it was a long and winding journey, navigating through different opinions to take only the best insights and staying resilient despite challenges.

The highlight was at the end of the year, during the project presentations and competitions. We advanced to the school-wide finals, presenting our project to investors and senior figures in the VC industry.

Happily, we won first place in the finals, receiving a generous cash prize and a support package for our venture.

But more importantly, we gained recognition that our entrepreneurial spirit is on the right path, and if we continue this way, we can achieve great success.

This is also an opportunity to express our appreciation for the support from the academic staff, especially Prof. Dafna Kariv, Dr. Gali Einav, and Or Nuri, the amazing teaching assistant who helped us at every step.
