B.A. in Communications

The Sammy Ofer School of Communications focuses on new media and its influence on information, communications, consumers and journalism. Alongside courses providing updated theoretical information from top lectures around the world, students are offered practical workshops and seminars that enable them to gain professional experience while still in school.

The undergraduate (B.A.) program in Communications prepares students for careers in media industry. ​The curriculum focuses on new media and its influence on information, communications, consumers and journalism.

All the school's faculty members are internationally-renowned researchers and lecturers.

 

The program spans three years and on their last year of school, all students participate in an annual project.

 

The program is offered in both Hebrew and English. Both programs are identical in academic terms, and are taught (mostly) by the same faculty members. The administrative aspects of the English program are managed by the Raphael Recanati International School (RRIS).

 


Starting in the second school year, students have three specialization electives to choose from: Marketing Communications​, Awareness and Influence in Digital and Interactive Communications.

 

Each specialization studies include theoretical courses, workshops and practical projects. The school is equipped with advanced technology and communications systems, including: TV, Radio, Broadcast and Post Production Studios, as well as Newsroom and Media lab​.​

 Alongside courses providing updated theoretical information, students are offered practical workshops and seminaries that enable them to gain professional experience while still in school with leading professionals.​
