On December 28, 2020, the Gazit-Globe Real Estate Institute, the Zvi Meitar Institute for Legal Implications of Emerging Technologies, Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co law firm, and the Ehrlich Group held an online meeting on the subject “PropTech – Insights on the Future of Real Estate.” The meeting began with greetings from Prof. Dov Greenbaum, director of the Zvi Meitar Institute for Legal Implications of Emerging Technologies at Reichman University. Following his opening remarks, he moderated a panel featuring Michal Gologorsky, CEO of PropTech Zone, and Adv. Guy Elias, a partner at Bricks PropTech Innovation and CEO of Kardan N.V. The panelists discussed global and domestic trends in the proptech and constructech industries.
A second panel was moderated by Dr. Tal Tirosh, a partner in the high-tech and venture capital department at Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co, featuring Adv. Roy Meltzer, head of Computing Technologies at Ehrlich Group; Naor Caspi, head of Innovation at Tidhar Group, Ron Heiblum, co-founder and CEO of Visitt.io, and Itay Segev, VP Products and Marketing at Datumate. Among the topics discussed by the panel were the challenges involved in implementing proptech and constructech technologies into real estate firms, strategies for protecting intellectual property, the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on proptech and constructech companies, and future trends in the industry.
