Pallergy

Pallergy is an application that allows hosting people with food allergies in a safe manner, preventing unpleasant sensations and discomfort for both the host and the guest.

What is it?

Pallergy is an application that allows hosting people with food allergies in a safe manner, preventing unpleasant sensations and discomfort for both the host and the guest. Before such a meal, both sides have concerns- The host worries about planning and adjusting the meal, facing uncertainty and lack of information. Meanwhile, the guest feels uncomfortable burdening the host and inconveniencing them. Through the application, the allergic guest creates a profile that specifies their food allergies. They send the profile to the host via a link, which opens as a web page. When the host accesses the link, they can see the guest's specific allergies and their severity level. The application presents recipe ideas that are tailored and filtered based on the guest's allergies, using Chat GPT.

Students' App

How does the application work?

When the user defines their information in the application, they can send a link to the host. Within that link, the host can view recipes customized for the user's allergies that are stored in our database. Alternatively, the host can plan a meal themselves. In this option, the website communicates with our server, which in turn accesses the OpenAI API to generate real-time recipes tailored to the user's allergies and the host's preferences. Afterwards, the host can save their preferred recipes and send a WhatsApp message through the website to update the allergic person on the selected dishes.
