What is it?

Mind-Ball is a product which is used to reduce stress among students. Students deal with a lot of pressure due to uncertainty and the many new challenges they face.

The product combines solutions based on two research methods for stress relief. The first method focuses on assisting in physical stress relief and the second method focuses on cognitive stress relief.

The product is designed conveniently and for mobile use, with two pressing surfaces on the sides of it, a microphone, a LED light, and a power button.

How does it work?

While using Mind-Ball, the student can squeeze it as many times as she wants, and each squeeze is felt by the user as the product gives “feedback” to the user (she feels the click) This method ensures a physical stress relief.

When the user squeezes Mind-Ball for more than 2 seconds, the internal microphone is activated, and thus the user can record tasks, reminders, or whatever she wants. At the end of the recording, the audio file goes through a speech-to-text process . Then, the text is transmitted to a reminder management application - such as Apple notes, where the text appears in the student's designated list. In doing so, the user clears her mind and is able to keep focus with the daily routine.
