The founding dean

  • Professor Yair Tauman is the founding dean of the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship and a former dean of the Arison School of Business at Reichman University.
Today, Prof. Tauman performs as the Vice Dean of Adelson school of Entrepreneurship.
He has been the academic director of the Zell Entrepreneurship Program since 2009.

Professor Tauman is a leading Professor of Economics at the Stony Brook University and has been the Director of Stony Brook Center for Game Theory since 1996. He studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where he obtained his B.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics (with distinction), M.Sc. (with distinction) and Ph.D. in Mathematics. The latter two under the supervision of Professor Robert Aumann, a 2005 Nobel Laureate. His research interests includes game theory, auctions, patents and innovations and industrial organization. He has been published in Econometrica, Games and Economic Behavior, the Journal of Economic Theory, the Quarterly Journal of Economics and the RAND Journal of Economics. Professor Tauman has been the organizer of the longest and most established series of International Summer Conferences in Game Theory (for 26 years). He taught at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management for seven years (1980-1987).
