Dr. Ran Cohen completed his Masters degree in Mathematics and Ph.D. in Computer Science at Bar-Ilan University. Later he served at a postdoctoral researcher at Tel Aviv University and MIT. His research interests are in cryptography and its synergy with distributed computing, mainly focusing on secure multiparty computation and consensus protocols.
