Research and Teaching Expertise

  • Nir Inbar is an international sports lawyer, CAS Arbitrator and founder of the global sports law firm "Nir Inbar Attorneys at Law", graduate of the prestigious FIFA Master Degree (UK, Italy, CH) and former CEO of a leading Football Club. His main areas of expertise are Sports law and Sports-Tech.

    Mr. Inbar is a CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sports) Arbitrator managed to gain vast experience in representing international clubs, athletes and intermediaries as legal counsel and before the judicial bodies of FIFA, UEFA, BAT as well as the CAS. His expertise includes contractual disputes (e.g. early termination of players' contracts, agency fee for intermediaries), disciplinary matters and transfer related matters (e.g. Training Compensation, Solidarity Contribution) and serves as a Pro Bono Legal Counsel at FIFA and at UEFA.

    Mr. Inbar also uniquely leads the growing specificities of Sports-Tech field of law while accompanying sports and technology related startup companies in the bubbling tech scene of Tel Aviv.

    Mr. Inbar accumulated broad perspective of the sports' world, experiencing different angles of the relevant stakeholders. He is former CEO of Hapoel Tel Aviv FC and had led the club in UEFA Champions and Europa Leagues' endeavors. He was among the founders of Israel Professional Football Leagues (IPFL) of which he also became an executive board member, representing the "Big Teams" of the IPFL and currently serves as member of Israel's Football Association Constitution Committee.

    Mr. Inbar received his law degree from the reputed Hebrew University of Jerusalem and graduated from the renowned international master in management, law and humanities of sport ('FIFA master', ranked "number 1" in Europe by SportBusiness International).

    Mr. Inbar is a Sports Marketing lecturer at the honored Arison School of Business of the Reichman University (IDC).
